Working principle:
The sewage (or other raw water) flowsfrom the front of the drum through the drum surface andout of the lower part of the drum, where the suspendedmatter is retained on the rotating drum surface. Thetrapped dirt is sent from the inlet end to the discharge endon the other side as the drum surface rotates, and is shov-elled off by the discharge mechanism. The cleaning systemcan be controlled by a manual ball valve to clean the drumsurface regularly.
